Belfast interest: Inventions: A manuscript copybook containing
technical details of a considerable number of patents, mainly in electrical
engineering, with circuit diagrams, details of patent approvals etc.,
apparently written up by Major Rupert Stanley at the Municipal College
of Technology, Belfast, about 1913-14. Inscribed in another hand on
front cover, ‘Given to me by Major Stanley 26.9.52’ It appears these are
not Maj. Stanley’s own patents? rather they are accounts of important
patents granted to such inventors as J.A. Fleming etc. With two related
typescript letters loosely inserted. As a m/ss. Interesting item. (1)
