1931 Cork Munster Championship Medal Medal: G.A.A. 1931. An
attractive 9ct gold circular Medal with pierced centre, enamelled coat
of arms, overlay and various typical Celtic motifs, inscribed ‘’C I na G -
Craobh na Mumhan,’’ the reverse ‘’Ceannas Iomanuiochta na Mumhan
- Sinnsear Corcaigh do buaidh 1931,’’ hall marked W.E. (William Egan).
Scarce. (1) * Cork beat Waterford 5.4 to 1.2 after the first game ended in
a draw (1.9 to 4.0), Cork went on to eventually win, beating the Cats in a
three match thriller.
