Clare’s First All-Ireland Title 1914 All-Ireland Hurling Medal Medal:

G.A.A. Hurling 1914. An attractive 9ct gold Medal of Celtic Cross

design, the obverse with pierced centre and a harp overlay inscribed

across centre ‘’Eire’’ and ‘’Cumann na gCleas - Luit Gaedhealach’’ on

outer ring, the reverse inscribed ‘’All-Ireland Hurling C’ship, won by

Clare, 1914,’’ hallmarked H. & H. (Hopkins & Hopkins). Extremely Rare.

(1) * In 1914 Clare beat Laois in the 15th year of the Championship to

claim their First All-Ireland Title. Captained by Amby Power, they won

on a scoreline of 5-1 to 1.0. A very rare Medal.
