An important Regency period English mahogany six bay double breakfront Bureau Bookcase, by Gillows of Lancaster, the moulded cornice with central triangular hood above twelve domed framed glazed panel doors with adjustable shelf interiors, the central section with long drawer opening to reveal bureau interior with pigeon holes and drawers, flanked either side with two short drawers and ornate brass drop handles, above six paneled doors on plinth base with locks by Chubb, approx. 264cms high x 365cms long x 61cms deep (104” x 144” x 24”).
