Hurling, Kilkenny 1907. An attractive 9ct gold Medal, the shield shaped
design with the obverse capitalised with crossed hurls, the central
overlay depicting coat of arms surrounded by a garland of shamrocks,
and inscribed ‘’Ye Faire Citie,’’ the reverse inscribed ‘’Kilkenny Citizens
to Patrick Saunders, All-Ireland Champion Hurler, 1904, ‘05, ‘ 07,’’
hallmarked J.S., together with link chain, and later box. Scarce. (1)
