attractive 9ct gold Medal, the obverse with Celtic cross design and
pierced shamrocks and typical motifs, the circular central panel with
a heavy harp overlay, the reverse inscribed ‘’G.A.A. - Dublin - Senior
Football Championship 1901 - won by Emmett’s, Bray,’’ hallmarked.
Unusual & Rare. (1) * Captained by David ‘’Gush’’ Brady, this was
Dublin’s 7th Title in the All-Ireland Football Championship. The final
didn’t take place for the 1901’s title till the 5th July 1903, Dublin beat
Cork 1.2 to 0.4.
