(2) * O’Connor joined the Volunteers 1916, and was ordered to Kerry in advance of the Easter Rising, but after the arrest of Casement he returned to Dublin. He was arrested and court martialed and interned in Richmond Barracks. He was later sent to Wandesworth and Frongoch where he met Michael Collins.
