orig. photographic postcards on the
establishment of the Whitehead Aircraft
Co. in Richmond, from the clearing of the
site, felling of the trees, foundations for
the buildings to the completion of the first
aircraft. It shows the men and the women
at work, the steam lorries for collecting the
material to the finished product. Also there
are approx. 140 orig. photos of varying size,
of sim. interest, but with some of theatrical
productions put on by the company. As a
