Commemorative Coins: The Irish Independent Easter 1916 Medallion Collection, Limited Edition of 500 (No. 46) with certificate, struck by Celtic Silver Limited of Dublin the medallions depicting the head and shoulders of each of the signatories of the 1916 Proclamation In presentation case. Rare Irish 20 Pence Trial Piece Irish Coin: A rare 1985 Twenty Pence Trial Piece Coin , the obverse with profile of a horse and ‘20p’, the reverse with central harp and ‘Eire’ dated ‘1985’ with riveted and smooth edge, some streaks, mellowed tone, good example. * These Coins were issued in advance of production to various companies and organisations to facilitate calibration of vending machines and other coin operated devices such as telephones, meters etc. According to sources in the Central Bank less than 50 pieces of the 500 or so issued were not returned.
