A good late Regency rosewood Chiffonier, with pierced brass gallery on a shelf with mirror panel supported by gilt ‘C’ scrolls and two mirrored paneled doors below, with panel ‘boulle’ gables, on plinth base, approx. 127cms h x 136cms w (50” x 53½”). A fine quality 19th Century English giltwood circular Table, with pietra dura inset top, decorated with flowers and butterflies, on an ornate pillar support on conforming triform base, approx. 48cms diameter x 74cms high (19” x 29”). (1) €200 - €300 794. 19th Century English School “Saint Francis Feeding the Doves,”O.O.C., depicting the Cleric with a bowl of seed feeding the birds, approx. 68cms x 50cms (27” x 20”), in contemporary gilt frame. A fine quality Georgian period mahogany Stick Barometer, the breakneck pediment with ball finial, above silver dial, named Dolland London, on a domed cistern base cover, approx. 102cms (40”) high. (1) €800 - €1000 798 – See page 82 799. A good attractive pair of Irish George II, c. 1760/70 Chippendale style stuff over red walnut Chairs, of dowelled construction with hide covering. The horizontal top rail above a pierced vase splat, raised on square legs with filleted outer edges, solid ‘ear’ bracket spandrels, legs joined by rectangular stretcher. A rare Irish George I, c 1720, red walnut Side Chair, of dowelled construction, the stylized yolk, or ‘India’ top rail above a tapestry upholstered sweep back, with caned seat, raised on carved acanthus capped cabriole legs on faceted pad feet, united by turned and block stretcher.
