A fine quality Irish Georgian period mahogany cased Grandfather Clock, the break neck cornice with central pierced floral motifs and carved rosettes, the frieze with central shell and carved moulding in relief, above a glazed door housing a brass and silvered dial with Arabic and Roman numerals, seconds hands and date aperture, by Joshua Twomey, Dubin, flanked by reeded columns the trunk with figured mahogany panel door and half reeded columns, on a box base with bracket feet, approx. 236cms high (93"). A fine quality Irish George II giltwood Mirror, c. 1740, the swan neck cresting with central scroll cartouche with carved rosette and floral motif, the main frame with egg n' dart moulded with inverted sides, housing original plate mirror with wave border and shell corners and assimilated sand pattern, the base with leaf drape and central flowers, approx. 140cms x 74cms (55" x 29").
