A fine quality Irish mahogany Bureau, attributed to Butler, Dublin, the slope front opening to reveal a fitted interior with warrior inlay, pigeon holes and drawers, above two frieze drawers with moulded edges and brass drop handles, on front and back carved legs with acanthus leaf top and paw feet, approx. 108cms wide x 111cms high x 64cms deep (42½” x 43½” x 25”). A rare 17th Century Nuremberg or Augsburg Armada iron Chest, with typical strap work and hand riveting handles, the carrying handles clasps and secret escutcheon all original (with key) the interior with five spring catches and a decorative steel back plate with engraved mythical creatures (some rusting) 58cms wide x 30cms high x 30cms deep (23” x 12” x 12”).
