Marsdon, editor of the Fishing Gazette, & photocopy of the article as published April 1896, claiming Hearns as the inventor of the Thunder and Lightning salmon fly. As ephemera, w.a.f. Wexford - A small oblong folio Album, containing approx. 94 original Photographs, dating between 1946 and April 1953, by the owner of Riverview House, Newtownbarry [Bunclody] Co. Wexford. It features anglers (names given) with fish, mainly on the River Slaney, at and about Clohamon. It also shows some local houses, & pubs, again named, well-known parts of the river, and groups of fishermen with their catch, giving weights etc; in addition this lot includes a series of mounted photos taken by C.E.
