A superb late 18th Century North Italian slope front Neo-classical Bureau, in the manner of Giuseppe Maggiolini, in walnut, profusely inlaid and etched with scrolling foliage, portraits, caryatids, atlantes and mythical beasts, vines and leaf swags, the slope front opening to reveal a fitted interior with shelves, drawers and a well, above three long and one mock drawer on flat bun feet, 106cms x 112cms (41½” x 43”).
