A fine Edwardian rosewood and marquetry inlaid Ladies cylinder Bureau de Dame, with three quarter pierced brass gallery, above a roll back tambour front and an oval satinwood inlaid top, with an oval fan, within scrolling leaf sprays and hanging bell flowers, opening to reveal a tooled leather writing surface and three short drawers, pigeon hole and pen compartments, the double action frieze drawer also opening the tambour top, on square tapering spade legs, united by a concave stretcher shelf, 93cms h x 74cms w (36½” x 29”).
