119 Fonsie Mealy’s Est. 1934 941. A very rare Irish George IV mahogany Hall Bench, by E. (Edward) Bourke, carver and guilder and glass seller, 50 College Green, 1785, the triple panelled shield shaped back with carved leaf and scroll crests above a long single plank solid seat and scrolling cut curved armrests, on four front octagonal legs and four conforming sabre legs to the rear, 214cms (7'1'), stamped in three places underneath.
