(possibly John MacDonagh), addressed to ‘A Th. a chara’, 26.6.1917, discussing home-coming of prisoners (‘a great success, even down in Youghal’, the by-election, the parade to Bodenstown, reports of divisions in the ranks of the Sinn Feiners, ‘too many Leaders and too many Policies’, ‘our friend Eoin .. unfortunately for us it would seem as if he was to be taken under DeV’s banner ..’, etc. A most interesting letter; further research would probably identify the writer. - A copy of The Liberator (Tralee, 21 June 1917), reporting on p.3 a ‘Right Royal Welcome to Austin Stack, Tom Ashe and T. Brosnan’; - A letter from a friend to Nora Ashe congratulating her on her brother’s release, and a letter from ‘Padraig’, Dunbeag, June 12 th 1916. As a collection, w.a.f.
