The ball with original stitching and inside lining, some wear and fading, otherwise a truly desirable memento of this historic event in Irish Rugby History. (1) * Ireland beat Wales at Ravenhill on 13th March, 1948 on a score line of 6 points to 3, captained by the late great Karl Mullen to claim their First Grand Slam.
