6 Fonsie Mealy Auctioneers Salesrooms are fully Covid-19 compliant. Viewing will be conducted at two spacious premises, and persons, by attending, do so of their own volition. Fonsie Mealy Auctioneers do not accept liability or responsibility should persons contract Covid-19 subsequent to visiting these premises. Viewing and Attendance at Auction: Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all viewing is by appointment only and numbers admitted may be limited to allow for social distancing. Any delay arising in admittance to viewing is unavoidable and will be kept to a minimum. Where possible, viewing onWednesday, Thursday andFriday, 23rd, 24th and25thSeptember is recommended. Clients are requested to follow the instructions and signage for direction through the salesrooms, hand sanitising and social distancing. The wearing of face coverings is mandatory. It is particularly requested that children do not attend the viewing and auction days. As numbers attending the auction days will be limited, we request that clients register for a bidding number (paddle) prior to the auction and indicate the sale days that you will attend. Any delay arising in admittance to the auction is unavoidable and will be kept to a minimum. Commission and Telephone Bidding, Online Live Bidding: If unable to attend the sale days, clients may submit commission bids by telephone, by email or in person. Simply state the maximum price you would like to pay for a lot and we will purchase it for you at the lowest possible price, taking the reserve price and other competing bids into account. We can similarly accept telephone bids for lots with a pre-sale estimate in excess of € 500. We will call you for bidding through one of our staff in the saleroom allowing you to participate live. Live online bidding is available via the-saleroom.com . This service incurs a surcharge of 5% levied by the auction host and is chargeable on the hammer price in addition to the buyer’s premium. Collection and Delivery: We request that all purchases are collected by Friday, 9th October (Friday, 16th October, in respect of overseas clients). All such collections are by appointment only and collection by third parties allowed only with written confirmation from the buyer.
